Many Nigerians were shocked when embattled Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, invited former President Olusegun Obasanjo to commission some projects in his state recently. They were even more shocked when Obasanjo honoured the invitation amidst great fanfare.

I became the Pastor of Healing Wings, Chapel of Faith in 1998. But nine years later, I felt constrained to resign. My resignation came from the sudden realisation that even though God specifically called me to ministry, he never asked me to pastor a church.

On October 22,2013, the Edo State Electoral Commission organized an election into the Esan North-East Local Government Council. Somewhere along the line, it declared the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of the chairmanship election. The opposition party- the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cried foul alleging that it was a travesty of justice as the rightful winner was reportedly short-changed.
