Nigerians have become nonchallant over the years about the process and outcome of our Nations annual budgets. Indeed in the past three decades or so the most outstanding feature of our budgets has always been the glitz and razmattaz which accompanies the annual ritual of budget presentation.

My revered friend, Fagbemi, brought me good tidings. I mean, literally. It is a tiding I want to share.

The New Year, 2011, is two days old and the many resolutions of many are not likely to be crumbling this soon. But, because this year seems to be one of promise, in spite of the seething darkness trying to undermine what we have all anchored a volition for, we should tackle the bad in us for the good to emerge.
