Sometimes as the Quran indicates, Allah uses the earthquakes to destroy and wipe out a generation. In the story of the people of Shuaib, their chieftains at that time not only denounced him, but also discouraged people from following Prophet Shuaib and the earthquake came and destroyed them. 

The programme will continue during the Asalatu Sessions which will hold across all NASFAT locations worldwide on Sunday,19th February, 2023 with a lecture titled Making Nigeria Work For All Nigerians: Our Collective Responsibility.

“The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), hereby wish to restate that the deadline for the remittance of 50 percent deposit of 2022 allocation remains February 28, failure of which the affected state(s) would forfeit their allocation or reduced.” 

While urging the intending pilgrims, especially those who have not completed the Hajj fare of N2,640,000.00 paid in the year 2022 to go ahead and raise a bank draft of N1,340,000.00 in favour of the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, he stressed that the Board would notify them if there would be any increment or reduction at the appreciate time.

The Institute will commence with a 4- week certificate program for the members of the Board of the commission on” Strategic Management of Hajj and Umrah Operations”.

“Some have claimed that the hijab is a symbol of oppression and segregation. Rather, it is unjust and unconstitutional laws, bigoted administrative rules and outright discrimination that oppress Muslim women and girls. We are inundated daily with reports of various Muslim women (young and old) across various cities, states, countries being harassed, subjugated and discriminated against due to the Hijab.”

“Obviously, whoever discriminates against the Hijab is not only violating the law and peaceful co-existence but also encouraging violence.”

“The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria( NAHCON) hereby announced the 2023 Hajj allocation to the 36 State Pilgrims welfare boards/agencies/ Commissions, including the FCT and the Armed Forces after the end of the Exco meeting which ratified the allocation.”

“While we are not against students conforming to school rules and regulations on dress code, we will not allow the effect of the Supreme Court judgment to be watered down and rendered worthless.”

The statement stressed further that those that had already completed the N2,640,000.00 charged for last spiritual exercise but couldn’t perform the pilgrimage due to circumstances beyond their control are not affected by the statement.
