Gunmen on Tuesday night killed two persons in a fresh attack on Kuru community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The protesters accused security forces of failing to protect residents and alleged possible collaboration with attackers.

Government House sources said the meeting critically reviewed the security situation in the state, with participants expressing concern over the persistent loss of lives and destruction of property.

A 28-year-old man, identified as James Iliya, has reportedly been killed in a suspected ambush along the Barkin Ladi – Kassa road in Plateau State.
