Delta State Commissioner on the board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr Ogaga Ifowodo,  has assured  that the era of abandonment of projects in the commission was over, adding that the commission had set aside 70 per cent of its annual budget for completion of some  existing projects.

BOMADI—ESANMA community in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, has threatened to stop construction on the Bomadi-Gbaregolor-Esanma-Akugbene-Ezebiri Road project being undertaken by the Niger- Delta Development Commission, NDDC, following alleged nonpayment of compensation.

SABA—EXE-CUTIVE Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Samuel Adjogbe, has said that the commission was set to commence the construction of 69 km road network and 22 bridges to link the coastal communities in Delta State for effective oil exploration and maximum utilization of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko.

ABIA State Government has lamented that it has not benefitted much from Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, and urged the commission to do more for the State. The government has therefore called for a synergy with Niger Delta Ministry to assist in the infrastructural development of the state.

NIGER Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has accused the Akwa Ibom State Government of misinforming the public on its stewardship in the state.
