The issue of sexual harassment is not a new one to the ears, it is a thing that has been in existence in our society since ages past, despite the fact that we try to sweep it under the carpet. My case is not quite different from those of others, its just that I am a guy and lot of people feel it is quite unusual My name is Daniel, a 27 year old. I am very handsome and well cultured and goal driven. My sexual harassment began when I got employed in the firm I did my youth service.

ANOTHER “dark horse”, Governor Namadi Sambo, comes riding in as Vice President of Nigeria. Nigeria is a paradise for dark horses.

IN my humble view, Nigeria has had only three statesmen at its highest level of governance. These are Zik, Balewa, and OBJ. A statesman is a senior male politician widely respected for integrity and an impartial concern for the common good. If we go beyond the politician, I would add the names of Ernest Shonekan and Abdulsalami Abubakar, who ruled under a military regime.

Without taking away from his personal merits, President Jonathan is in every terms a child of Providence. His rise as a relatively obscure deputy governor of a small state like Bayelsa, to the position of Vice President and, then, President within a space of six, seven years is in every sense the ‘Lord’s doing’.
