The Benue Chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) on says it has adopted indirect primaries in selecting candidates for the 2019 general election.

Makurdi—OVER 8,000 members of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, alongside the lawmaker representing Gwer West/East in the National Assembly, Mr. Mark Gbillah, have defected to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Publicity Secretary of the APC in Benue, Mr Agbo Terkula, has resigned both his membership of the party and the position he occupied.

Delegates at the Benue All Progressives Congress, APC, state congress, Saturday, through a voice vote endorsed Governor Samuel Ortom as the sole candidate of the party in the coming 2019 general elections even as they unanimously affirmed the return of the Comrade Abba Yaro led State Executive Council of the party for another term in office.
