Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Bola Tinubu has asked his closest opponents in last Saturday’s Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of Labour Party to emulate former President Goodluck Jonathan and concede defeat.

Hours after it emerged that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi polled the highest votes in the presidential election result from Lagos State, the All Progressives Congress APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has appealed to Lagos residents to be calm and eschew any act that can lead to the breakdown of law and order.

The much-anticipated 2023 general elections came alive on Saturday as Nigerians trooped out to vote for their preferred candidate that would succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, who would have governed the country for eight years of two terms by May 29, 2023.

Candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are dominating results of yesterday’s election Vanguard confirmed.

Tinubu described President Muhammadu Buhari as a dedicated and sincere leader who faced many challenges when he took over the reins of government in 2015.
