Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, the Minister of Police Affairs, has expressed optimism that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will emerge victorious at the April 15 Senatorial and House of Representatives supplementary election in Sokoto State.

A Delta State Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Cairo Ojougboh, has again called out the Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege over his purported suspension from the party by those he described as “a gang of house boys” acting as members of the State Executive Committee of the party.

Former presidential Spokesman and Director of Communications and Media Strategy of Delta APC Campaign Organization, Olorogun Ima Niboro,  has described as a tissue of lies allegations by expelled APC chieftain, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, that Deputy Senate President and Delta APC Governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, factionalized the party and did not carry everybody along and that was why the party lost the March 18 governorship election in  Delta State.

Ahead of the Bayelsa state governorship election coming up in November 2023, a group under the auspices of Progressives Minds of Bayelsa has cautioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) leadership to take steps to prevent the party from running into litigations that may affect its chances of fielding a candidate for the election.
