Men of Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 40-year-old driver in a pure water factory, Abiodun Idowu for allegedly strangling to death a female accountant in the same factory, Abimbola Hamzat while attempting to rape her.

The Police Command in Edo has confirmed the killing of Dr Omoruyi Igbagbon, former lecturer at the College of Education, Ekiadolor, near Benin, by unknown gunmen.

A male resident of Orumala Street in Ughelli metropolises of Delta State, who is rumored to be allegedly involved in online scams popularly known as “Yahoo-Yahoo,” last Thursday, ran amok and stabbed himself to death with a broken bottle.

For being in possession of fake medical reports from a Maitama, Abuja district hospital, a woman, Miss Inaku Victoria Oko, has been convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment by Justice Olukayode A. Adeniyi of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
