I Go Dye fights youth restiveness in Delta State with project ‘SORT’

In his little contribution to checkmate youth restiveness in Delta State and create a platform for youths to harness their God-given talents, Ace comedian, Francis Agoda, popularly known as I Go Dye has launched a new project tagged ‘Sorting Out Raw Talents (SORT)’. This is part of his Francis Agoda Path of Honour (FAPOH) initiative which he unveiled a while ago where he staked 5 thousand dollars to challenge youths to come up with a video skit that would promote peace during the 2019 general elections with hashtag #Istandforpeace2019elections”.

Timaya’s passion, staying power

Timaya released a 14- track album titled ‘Upgrade’, featuring collaborations with Attitude, Terry G and Vector. Between 2014 and 2018, Timaya has released hit songs that are still making waves. His last year’s dancehall tune, “Kom Kom” which he teamed up with Patoranking, alongside his latest signee, King Perryy, is still receiving accolades within the music circle. The song was a follow up to his last release “Bam Bam” featuring Olamide. Not showing any sign of slowing down, Timaya kicked off this year with buzz of his 7th studio project since his major break to the music industry titled, “Chulo Vibes.” The 9-track album featuring Burna Boy, Tanzanian singer Alikiba and dancehall artiste, Machel Montano from Tobago is expected to be Timaya’s greatest, as it would be a follow-up to his 2014 Epiphany album..

Ifeanyi Okowa adds a feather to his cap

Amid glitz and glamour and in a colourful ceremony Sunday night, Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa emerged the “2018 Silverbird Man Of The Year Award”. At the event which took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites, he dedicated the award to Deltans for their peaceful disposition and support for his administration.  The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar presented the award to him.
