Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, yesterday,  expressed divergent views on how best to salvage Nigeria’s democracy, particularly in Rivers State, from a contemptuous culture of violence.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that  despite the deliberate distractions of the APC Federal Government, his administration has achieved significant milestones  in projects delivery. 

The Governor of Rivers states, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has described APC in an online trending video as a deceitful party, noting that Nigerians are tired of their leadership pattern and await patiently for PDP to take over in 2019.

Rivers State governor, Mr Nyesom Wike, has inaugurated committees on the administration/disbursement of civil servants revolving loan scheme and the Rivers State N200 million Monthly Traders and Young Entrepreneurs Interest Free Loan Scheme.

The Federal High Court Abuja has barred the Nigerian Police, the EFCC  and the Department of State Security Service, (DSS) from searching houses belonging to Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers.
