Youths of Rivers state have expressed willingness to partner with governor Nyesom Wike to take the state to greater heights.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has reiterated that his victory is for all Rivers people, hence it is a new beginning for the state.

Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers on Thursday inaugurated a Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the violence,  killings and related matters during the Feb. 23 and March 9 general elections in the state.

Rivers Women from the 23 Local Government Areas of the state have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) to conclude  the Collation Process for the Governorship  election and declare Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike duly re-elected. 

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is expected to give today a fresh directive on how it expects to resolve the crisis that stalemated the Rivers State governorship election. The process had been suspended last Sunday by the election management body after some casualties that exceeded past levels of violence in the restive political state.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has said that nobody will be allowed to manipulate the elections of the state irrespective of the deployment of soldiers and security agencies .
