Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has commended the electorate in Osun State as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over what he described as the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded governorship election in the state.

The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for what it described as the relatively seamless conduct of the 15 August 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, particularly the absence of major technical glitches in most locations and the real-time uploading of polling-unit results on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

Several countries around the world do not issue or use a currency of their own, instead relying on the money of another country or adopting a widely recognised currency such as the US dollar or euro.

Following the outcome of the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has disclosed that it is studying the results before determining the next line of action.
