IMMEDIATE past Chairman of Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa has thrown his weight behind calls for devolution of powers and true federalism, arguing that without restructuring to address perceived imbalances in Nigeria and quell ever growing agitations for self determination, the nation will not experience appreciable economic growth.

SENATOR Mao Ohuabunwa, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has accused ex-Governor Orji Uzor-Kalu of working to manipulate Appeal Court judges to deliver judgement on Abia North Senatorial district election case pending before it in his favour.

Money appropriated for constituency projects does not go to parliamentarians as widely assumed, Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa(PDP-Abia North) has said.

SENATOR Mao Ohuabunwa of Abia North senatorial zone, who was last week, removed by the Appeal Court sitting in Owerri, Imo State, has described his removal as temporary and “a mere distraction which will set the zone back during the defence of the federal budget.”

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa representing Abia North in the National Assembly has described the lopsided appointments so far made by President Muhammadu Buhari without yet any person from the South East as a time bomb waiting to explode and urged the President to redress the matter.
