DELTA — The two factions of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State may have decided to flout the directive of the national chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on the need to resolve their differences and work as a untied team.

IF you are an ardent follower of politics in Nigeria, you would have heard of the slang; the “Buhari Syndrome”. But if you haven’t, then you may have to dust up your old schoolbag, sandal and uniform to go back to the four walls of a classroom at least of the political nature and texture.

TOWARDS finding a lasting peace to the crisis rocking the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders of the two tendencies in the party, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, would be meeting with the national chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole Tuesday in Abuja.

An attempt by the Minister for State, Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu to reconcile the warring factions in the All Progressive Congress, Delta State chapter, was on Tuesday frustrated as the Delta APC Senator, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege and Chief Great Ogboru group shunned the peace meeting.

We led our delegates to go to the stand that belongs to Delta that they were illegally occupying and that is what happened. But we did not go there to attack them; we went there because we were the authentic delegates and that is the only place meant for us to seat and they occupied it illegally.
