The House of Representatives has abandoned the probe it initiated into capital projects by Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, and Rivers states.

On August 26, 2019, the House initiated, but has since abandoned midway, an enquiry into alleged abandonment of capital projects by Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta and Rivers states.

THE Ijaw National Congress, INC, Saturday, said any further delay in the inauguration of a substantive Board for the Niger Delta Development Commission, after the submission of the forensic audit report to the President would amount to betrayal of trust and display of insensitivity to the Niger Delta region.
