Bayelsa: APC exonerates self, accuses PDP campaign team of mobilising armed thugs
The All Progressives Congress APC has denied orchestrating Wednesday’s attack on some supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Nembe which reportedly led to the death of a non-editorial staff of the state-owned radio corporation and others. Instead, the APC said it has been vindicated with the violent outcome of the political rally by the PDP in Nembe Local Government Area, saying the Bayelsa state government and its party should be blamed and held responsible.

Activist sue PDP, INEC over Wada’s health, seeks PDP candidate’s ouster
A Lokoja-based lawyer, Ehimoni Sunday has approached the federal high court seeking to disqualify Musa Wada of the PDP from contesting Saturday’s Kogi Guber elections. The suit was commenced by Originating Summons numbered FHC/ABJ/CS/1375/19 and filed by his lawyers on 12/11/19. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Engr. Musa Wada is 1st, 2nd and 3rd Plaintiffs respectively in the matter which was filed at the court’s Abuja headquarters.
