Enugu—— Ohanaeze Ndigbo has asked Ndigbo to accept the choice of the former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi as vice presidential candidate of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on the platform of PDP in order not to upset the political arrangements towards the 2019 presidential elections.

The choice of a former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi as the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was generally described as a deft move by a cross-section of Nigerians.

It started in the Garden City last week when in the full glare of thousands of Nigerians and millions of others watching live on television screens, he beat 11 others to the sole Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to run for the office of the President in the 2019 general elections. But Atiku Abubakar, is gradually morphing into a national figure capable of ousting the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019.
