The Federal Government has called for the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in fighting the scourge of fake news, disinformation and hate speeches.
Blame the system, not teachers for students’ woe — UNESCO
GLOBAL Education Monitoring (GEM) Report which has just been released, has indicated that it is the responsibility of governments to provide universal quality education and stresses that accountability is indispensable in achieving the goal. The Report warns that disproportionate blame on any one actor for systemic educational problems can have serious negative side effects, widening inequality and damaging learning.
