The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of plot to cause trouble by refusing to withdraw the 4,000 All Progressives Congress (APC) members it “secretly” registered as independent observers for the July 14 and September 22 governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states respectively.

Contrary to insinuations that a faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, the Unity Forum, has concluded plans to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party, it said it could negotiate with other registered political parties but not the PDP.
