Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has said he will appeal Monday’s ruling of the state election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja and has consequently instructed his lawyers to file the necessary papers. 

The immediate past Governor òf Bayelsa State, Chief Henry Seriake Dickson, has urged Bayelsans not to be perturbed by the judgment of the Election Petition Tribunal which annulled the state Governorship election on Monday.

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has stressed the need for Bayelsans regardless of party differences to put the interest of the state ahead of other considerations.
