Trade facilitation: Customs seeks stakeholders’ compliance with NICIS II
In a bid to enhance trade facilitation and increase revenue generation for the Federal Government, the Murtala Muhammed Airport Command, MMAC, of Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has implored stakeholders to embrace the new Customs clearing process; Nigerian Integrated Customs Information System II (NICIS II), launched at the Command by the Technical Team Unit, Abuja.

The Western Marine Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) In Apapa, Lagos, said it made seven seizures estimated at 27 million in first quarter of 2018.

New CAC tasks Customs officers on revenue, trade facilitation at PTML port
COMPTROLLER Francis Adetoye has resumed duty as Customs Area Controller, CAC, Port Terminal Multiservice Logistics, PTML Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, with a directive to all officers of the command to up the ante in their duties of trade facilitation, checking of smuggling and contraband goods, as well as collection of tariffs.
MMA Customs on red alert
The Murtala Mohammed Area Command of Nigeria Custom Service, MMA, is on red alert, as the Command just recorded massive seizures of military hard wares, imported into the Country but falsely declared with different Airway Bill numbers and company that brought in the items.
Customs redeploys 8 senior officers
The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Retired Col. Hameed Ali, has redeployed eight customs officers to further strengthen the operations of the service.
