The Federal Government has resumed the trial of hardened Boko Haram terror suspects in the Kainji Prosecution Project Phase IV in Abuja.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State on Tuesday revealed that the ongoing sustainable onslaught by the military in the fight against Terrorists has led to the voluntary surrender of over 160,000 Boko Haram terrorists in the North East of Nigeria.

The Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, has revealed that some Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East planned attacks from the prison in connivance with prison warders. 

The troops of Sector 2 Operation Hadin Kai on Thursday eliminated several Boko Haram terrorists in a separate operation in  the North East of Yobe State.

Members of the Boko Haram terrorist sect, Tuesday evening, invaded Mathdaw village in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, where they shot dead a pastor (name withheld), who was in charge of Church of Brethren in Nigeria, also known as EYN Church in Hausa parlance.

The Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor has tasked troops of the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) to smoke out remnants of Boko Haram terrorists to end the war in the Northeast.
