A book titled “The Fine Art of Bookselling: Reflections of Nigeria’s Industry Stakeholders” which captures the beautiful back stories of Nigeria’s book industry and how much the industry has evolved with each generation has been scheduled for launch by 11 am on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at OPTS Hall, Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry, LCCI, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

Purpose is the dominant theme, not just in Emmanuel Bankole’s New Era debut solo art exhibition which ended yesterday, August 27, 2023, at Thought Pyramid Art Centre, but generally in his work as a visual artist.

In this collection of evocative poems titled, “Nostalgia and Tears F’orile,” Lola Fabowale, a Nigerian-Canadian social policy analyst, essayist, and poet presents the poem in three different sections, each with an average of 10 poems, written in a skillful and attractive style. The poem is educative, brilliant and entertaining.

With the unveiling of his works in a solo art exhibition held at the Federal College of Education, FCE (Technical), Akoka, Nigerian visual artist, Frederick Olatunde Aleilo wowed arts enthusiasts as the occasion which also marked his 50th birthday revealed him as a consummate artist who had for many years been hidden from the public.
