The Council-in-session therefore resolved to emberk on a day peaceful protest in all colleges of education and allied institutions against the refusal of government to conclude negotiation with NASU as well as to press home demands on other relevants outstanding grievances of members inn the affected institutions on Thursday June, 18, 2009.”

Apart from going from one university to the other, CEFARRD intends to achieve meaningful orientation of university students by establishing Youth and Dreams Leadership Forum in universities which will provide a platform for opinion leaders in tutoring and mentoring of the students.

Alele-Williams also recounted that about 30 years ago when Nomadic Education Commission was being established, there was also a suggestion for ‘Riverine Education Commission to take care of riverine areas. But this did not raised its head again. “We can tell government about education for people in difficult terrains.”
