A couple of years ago I served under an individual I found very charismatic and while I was driven by a zeal to work for the greater good; my faith was challenged when I, like many others, began to see past the charm. What we discovered was a Machiavellian character that was so ruthless that the veneer of charm was just a tool to manipulate and ingratiate to the powers that be.

As occasions go it was quite nice and it shows what an impact her life has had if people she led so many years ago dropped all to see her on a day as dull and rainy as Tuesday was. I was only going to stay a while but a downpour put paid to any other plans and I had decided to wait and see some of the old friends that were coming.

A market is a place of business, money, services and goods exchange hands. People from all walks of life visit the market for different reasons; some for transactions, others to partake in the energy and be a part of something that makes their mundane life pass less tediously and some visit just to observe and comment on the people there.

Presumably life is a game where we all play for a prize. Not everyone is going to agree and I am not 100% sold on the idea also but it makes sense to compare life to a game we play to win.

A light bulb moment is an experience that can be life challenging. It simply means you get a new perspective or an understanding that puts some fundamental pieces of the puzzle that is life together.
