Prepare for His visitation, by Funmi Komolafe

Thanks be to God for life.    You are a testifier.  That we are alive to witness the first half of the sixth month is indeed a testimony. Beloved, the greatest testimony is that of life and the salvation of our souls. Sleeping and waking up, isn’t by our power.  It is God that gives […]

Deepen your trust in God

Deepen your trust in God

Nigerian troops on Saturday rescued another of the missing Chibok schoolgirls seized by Boko Haram Islamists, in an operation near the border with Cameroon, a spokesman said.

Do you depend on God?

Do you depend on God?

Unchangeable God, Reliable God, Dependable God, ….. As I commence this column, the song that my Spirit has given me is what I have started today’s edition with and this is a popular song in churches.

Lift up your Spiritual life

Lift up your Spiritual life

Glory be to God! That we are alive today , we have every reason to thank God for His mercy. Take a few minutes to reflect on events in the last nine months of this year and you would see that many people with whom you started this year are no more. Not necessarily because you are more righteous, it is because God in his mercy has kept you alive. He has not kept you alive for nothing.

Your faith, your testimony

Your faith, your testimony

Let’s begin this edition of Joyful Homes on a different note. Especially since we ended last week’s note with the assurance that every yoke can be broken with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

The anointing removes all afflictions

The anointing removes all afflictions

Brethren, it is still September, the month of fruitfulness. To me, and many women that I know, it is a special month. It is the month of my breakthrough which brought about the birth of my son, after 22 years of waiting on the Lord.

Hold on to His promise

Hold on to His promise

We are in September, somehow, I am excited. September seems to be a special month. It is the ninth month of the year. Expectant mothers always look up to the ninth month for delivery. Perhaps this is why it is called the month of fruitfulness. It is the month of expectation. It is the month that one begins to appreciate that the year is running out . Hence, the determination to work harder at attaining set goals.

Get familiar with the Holy Spirit

Get familiar with the Holy Spirit

Let’s begin this column this week with a testimony. Someone I am familiar with went on a business trip and she got so exhausted and became worried about how she would board the plane to fly for about 14 hours to return to Nigeria . Suddenly, she found herself singing praises to God while waiting on the long queue to check in.
