PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, weekend, picked the presidential tickets of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, respectively in style. While President Buhari was affirmed as the ruling party’s flagbearer at the party’s convention in Abuja, Atiku won the PDP primaries in Port-Harcourt.
Currently, the duo remain frontrunners in the 2019 race for the presidency. This piece examines their strengths, weaknesses, and what stand them out in the race.

PORT HAR-COURT— Senator Magnus Abe has dared the Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Amaechi, and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, stating that the battle for who remains the candidate of the party for the 2019 governorship election in the state has just begun.

CONFUSION, over the weekend trailed the primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State as parallel National Assembly candidates emerged in the party.

Dr. Philomena Bivese-Djebah, a certified marriage counsellor and founder of Joyful Tears Initiative, recently launched her first book titled: Ofunneka. The event took place at the Governor’s Place, Omole Phase 1, Ikeja Lagos, before friends and family members who had come to show their love and support.

All Progressives  Congress, APC, candidate in Warri North state constituency election in the 2019 general election, Mr Wilson Alatsha, has reiterated the preparedness of the party to win the forth coming governorship election in the state, saying, “The prosperity slogan of the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa- led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, government in the state runs contrary to the current high poverty level in the state.”
