When your David rises your Saul must fall

When your David rises your Saul must fall

The beginning of your rising marks the beginning of your enemies fall. Everything that has a positive impact on you will have a negative impact on your enemies. After David overcame the Eliabs of his destiny, the greatest enemy he had to confront before he got to his original place of destiny,is to overcome the giant called Goliath.

In all the journey of your success in life if you are influenced by what people say and what their opinion are, then you are not fit to be a leader. The enemy that wants to take your position in life will end up being an errand boy to call you for your appointments in life. When God starts with you, some of your good friends, relatives and colleagues will have to break out because they will not be able to withstand you being made a king over them.

Pastor Bamidele

The Giant that David fought actually planned to bring down David’s Glory, he never wanted his destiny to be fulfilled, his integrity to be destroyed . If David had looked at the distraction of the Eliabs, he will not even attempt to face the giant talk less of overcoming the Giant.

What do we mean by the word Giant? Giant mean or representing any big problem that tooks big and impossible to handle or control is what we called Goliath. In the book of 1 Samuel 17:38,the bible says “And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head;….. “.The same sword and weapon that does not work for Saul against Goliath, so how could they work for David?. For the fact that Saul was trying to arm David with his armour, he was automatically preparing David for failure. In the cause of your journey to overcome your Goliath, you must be careful and be watchful of whom you journey with while pursuing your goal and destiny.

You must be careful not to borrow ideas from the rejected ,you must not allow anyone under a closed heaven close your own heaven for you. In the book of (1 Samuel 17:38),the Bible says “And he put an helmet of brass upon his head “.you must be careful not to seek help from people God has not ordained to help you. There is nothing you can do to pacify someone who hates you. If David had taken Saul’s armour, Saul would have shared in the Glory that belongs to God and he would have attributed the victory to the power in his armour.

Saul would have announced to the whole world that it was the power of God that is in him. Use whatever you have and rely on the power of God in your life to be the ultimate. Whatever you have not tried or tested will do you no good . Be cautious of the crowd. Do not follow the crowd or borrow people’s ideas to ruin your life.

When you allow those that are going nowhere in the vehicle of your life, it’s an indication that you too you are going nowhere. After disobeying God twice, he lost his Glory, and his life could not advance forward. Saul become a rejected King while David was the next king in waiting. Saul himself knew that David has a colourful destiny, and that was why he had wanted to stop him by giving David an armour that himself could not use to be fight Goliath.

When you embark on a journey of success in life, you will meet with all manner of distractors, who may want to distract you from your set goal or vision. In the book of 1 Samuel 17:40,the bible says, “And he took his staff in his hand, and choose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even in a scrap, and his sling was in his hand:and he drew near to the Philistines”. Now David refused the armour of Saul and took what he was used to and strongly believe in the power of God, The power of God was in the sling and when he throw the sling, the power of God in it made him to overcome his Goliath. That little thing in your hand that you didn’t have value for, if you hold on to God, God can take you to your greatest height in life.

May I say this, those of you reading my message, your Goliath may be sickness, barreness, affliction, failure or even inferiority complex. Whatever the Goliath is, locate it and use that weapon in your hand through the power of God in you, to bring the Giant holding you close or trying to stop you down. Do not be frightened by the size of your problem, all you need is that you  rely on God ,your reliance on God will make you overcome every challenges of your life.

The battle of David and Goliath is the battle of two different forces i.e the force of God and the force of the devil, but one good thing is, the devil has never won any battle against God. He is always a stupid and hopeless loser. Do not give up over that situation, hold on to your God, once God is for you to it may seems far, but you will get to your set destination. Our God is a God of time and season. When it is his time, it will naturally be good, but when it is your own  time, it will be problematic.when David saw Goliath, he did not see the abundance bigness of Goliath, but Jesse the bigness of God of Israel in himself.

There was a great spiritual battle in the realm of the spirit, there was a battle of the God of Israelites and the God of the philistines, and because David believe in the God of Israel, he won the battle. The battle was not based on the physical size of a human being, but it was based on the ability of the God’s of war. May I say this to you, do not focus on the bigness of your problem, but focus on the smallness of the devil and the bigness of god. When David destroyed Goliath, the news about David’s victory spread abroad.

The people recognized God’s Grace on David. It was Dat victory that made people to begin to see David as a potential candidate to take over from Saul. When you overcome the Goliath or the battles that has been ranging in your life for a very long time, it is then people will begin to see the Glory of God in your life. It takes David’s perseverance, patience, endurance and faith in God for him to be able to overcome the Goliath.

If you cannot persevere, endure and have faith and trust in the God of Israel, then you are not prepared for victory in life. The journey of David to the palace began from there. Listen to me, Saul who was celebrated king before suddenly became a Rejected King by God and David who was once rejected by his brothers, began to find acceptance with the people.

In every journey of life, there is always a David that is accepted and there is always a Saul that was Rejected. David was focused and determined while Saul lost focus and he ended up loosing his glory, you will not loose your own Glory. In the book of 1 Samuel 17:56.the bible says “And the king said, inquire thou whose son the stripling is” verse 57 says “And as David returned from the slaughtered of the philistine,Abner took him, and brought him before Saul, with the head of the philistine in his hand “.when you overcome your Goliath, people will begin to see the hand and the power of God in your life. King Saul could see God’s ability and Grace upon David.

The same Saul that David risked all because of him, became the number one enemy of David, because he knew within him that after that battle has-been fought and won he will become the next king. Listen to me ,the same people you may want to die for or risk all for, may turn to become  your number one enemy of your life..

In the book of 1 Samuel 18:6, the Bible says “And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul with tabrets, with joy,and with instrument of music “. Verse 7 of the same chapter said “And the women answered one another as they played and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands”. Saul became angry when he heard them singing the song, the Bible recorded that he became wroth and he was displeased, from then he became angry against David.

Listen, when you get angry with the anointed then you heading for a crash. From the day Saul made David his prime target to destroy, the journey of his generations destruction began. Not only did Saul destroyed himself, he also used his actions and attitude to destroy the young and faithful son called Jonathan. When you began a thing in life, you must think of where those things will end. From the day Saul started a bitter anger against the man that laid his life for him to remain on throne, he lost his throne.

When Saul got to his throne, he began to see himself that cannot be controlled by God, and God dethroned him and replace him with the same man that laid his life for God’s people, I mean the Israelites. God sees the heart of David and also saw the heart of Saul, Saul’s heart was detorched from his maker and he lost his throne. David’s heart was connected to God. Listen to me when you are connected to God, you are connected to good.

As you began the journey to confront your Goliath today with zeal, faith and trust in God, you will record a resounding success in life. Get something right, do not run away from the battle you cannot afford to fight. He who fight and run away live to fight another day again. An adage says, winners don’t quite, while quitters don’t win.
