How to choose the right tablet

How to choose the right tablet

It is a difficult economy. You don’t want to buy a tablet with your hard earned money only to discover that it wasn’t worth your cash. Here are some things you must do before buying a tablet.

Ask  prior users

Reviews are a great way to learn about a product, but they don’t tell you everything you need to know. Ask someone who already has the product about it. Find out what its weaknesses and strengths are especially considering what you want to use it for.

Work based on purpose

If you just want a tablet for general home use such as Web browsing, email, listening to music and so on — most of tablets out there will fit the bill. You probably won’t need to go with a superhigh-end tablet, so find something way down the price ladder.

If however, you plan to use your tablet for business or as a replacement for your laptop,  you’ll want one with at least a 9-inch screen.  Find something that comes with handy multi tasking features, optional keyboard attachments and pen-input support.

Price consideration and mobility

Except you’re really rolling in money, try not to spend too much on a tablet that isn’t for work purposes. Also consider mobility. If you’ll be moving around without your vehicle, go for something that is not too large but fits your purpose.

Warranty

If there is one area many Nigerian businesses play a fast one, it is in the area of warranty. That’s why it is not advisable to buy a second hand tablet. If you do buy a new one, know all that you have to about the warranty.

4Gcompatibility

Chances are that if you’re buying a tablet today, you’d want to use it for the next few years. Buy something that is 4G compatible. 5G is already in the works afterall.
