It is often said that “if you do not know where you are going, others will take you to where they are going” and that is the reason why many children of God, who were created in God’s own image with the mandate to occupy and have dominion are suffering today.  This is made possible because they have allowed the devil to deceive them.

In the world today, especially in Nigeria, many families are passing though one problem or the other and majority of them are attributed to forces of darkness. Yes of a truth, there are forces that can put one down, but there are also greater forces that can reverse that.

And that is why Staff Evangelist David Oboareke Igimoh , a dynamic minister and prophet of God who has been in the business of setting many captives free came up with a new book titled The Lord has set you over.

The powerful man of faith who delights in holding on to God even in the midst of obstacles in the 179 page book outlines some of the ways through which people can overcome their challenges through the word of God and prayer.

The 14 chapters book published by Ben-Ame corporate ventures, Warri prepares the mind of the readers to seek for God’s assistance by living a righteous and holy life. He believes that it is when a man’s way pleases God that he can secure healing, deliverance, breakthrough etc.

One of the special features of this special book is that apart from the messages, each chapter is loaded with powerful prayer points that if well followed will take one out of the chain of the devil.

In chapter one tagged I have set you above demonic powers, the author reminds the readers that though there are demonic powers but if only they can  only look on to the word of God, realize that God is on their side at all times, they will overcome. Pointing out some of the likely sins one will do away with.

Chapter 2 reminds the children of God about God’s good work in creation and his promises, while chapter 3 talks about the dangers of sleeping. Here he cautions that sleeping is one of the weapons of the devil, hence he urges children of God to do away with unnecessary sleep in their lives in order to be in God’s plan.

Chapter 4 highlights some of the Biblical portions that will enable one come out of poverty as it is not the will of God for His people to be poor, while the steps to take to experience God’s presence are in chapter 5.

In chapters 6 and 7, the seasoned minister of God who acknowledges the power of God explains the meaning of authority of God and with examples proffers how to submit to the authority so as to uproot every tree that is not planted by God as explained in chapter 8. The likely things to avoid in order to be close to God,  the three letter word, (sin) and its penalty which is great is discussed in chapter 9. Romans 6:23.

The preacher in last five chapters talks about sowing in the spirit, the reward of faithfulness, the spirit of the seventy elders, the touch of Christ and enough is enough. He suggests that the only way to sow in the spirit is by doing the right thing, hence the need for all to key into that with faith as faithfulness has its reward. Also, the need to do the will of God is what will make His spirit to walk with you and that can only be possible if you genuinely give your life to Christ and finally, for one to declare that enough is enough and rise up with the word of God to challenge the devil.

The book is another attempt by the author to send his message beyond his church, good preaching that if adhered to will help the readers. But, the author needs the services of good editors who will help him and put the work in order so as to do away with some avoidable errors  in the book. I recommend it to all who want to come out from the hands of the devil and many who want to possess their possesions.
