Obi faults implementation of UBEC
FORMER Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has faulted the implementation of the Universal Basic Education Commission’s Programme, saying that contrary to the manner of its implementation, that it was actually supposed to benefit all the pupils in the country, including those that attend private schools. 13.5m out-of-school children worrisome— UBEC Executive Secretary
As Nigeria’s education sector continues to experience a decline in standard and quality of infrastructure, the Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, Dr Hamid Bobboyi has said the most worrisome issue was the out-of-school children phenomenon.
