The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has said that the Federal Government will name and shame tax defaulters after the expiration of the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS).

THE Enugu  State Board of Internal Revenue, yesterday  sealed five choice hotels located within Enugu Metropolis for failure to remit their taxes.

For allegedly failing to pay their statutory taxes and the required percentages of their profits to federal government, House of Representatives on Thursday summoned the Managing Directors of 9mobile, Etisalat Nigeria and Globacom Nigeria to appear before it.

The federal government has received N17 billion from the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme, VAIDS, that commenced July 2017.
