Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has commended Mr. Peter Omoh Dunia (also known as Peter Black) and members of Ogbona Youth Forum for building and donating an ultra modern police station with fully equipped ICT centre to the Nigeria Police force for the security of lives and property of the people of Ogbona community in Etsako central local government area of the state.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has petitioned Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, over the alleged invasion of its secretariat in Edo State and the confiscation of its property.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday urged the 2024 Edo Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal to dismiss the petition filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which is challenging the victory of Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has declared that his administration will not rely on consultants in managing the affairs of the state.

“Why not just review it and take the entire purse of Edo State, if we can review from N8 billion to upward of between N12 billion and N16 billion in one year?”
