The Association of Resident Doctors in the Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCT) has suspended its three-day warning strike after the intervention of the FCT Minister, Mr Nyesome Wike.

Some vulnerable FCT residents including the scavengers, beggars, petty traders, among others, have filed a suit against the minister, Nyesom Wike, demanding N500 million in damages over alleged breach of their fundamental rights.

Some elders in Rivers State, under the aegis of Concerned Elders of Rivers State have called for an unreserved apology from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike following his recent derogatory remarks against former Governor Peter Odili, a respected elder statesman and founder of PAMO University of Medical Sciences.

Kinsmen of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Chief Nyesom Wike, have pleaded with the former governor of the state, Dr Peter Odili, to forgive their brother (Woke) over his recent statement against him, (Odili).

Wike said Atiku had severally presented his blueprint to Nigerians and he had been serially rejected.

The United Furniture Association has called on FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to intervene in the alleged encroachment of the Kugbo commercial layout.

“Nyesom Wike knows, that aside from God, the biggest players who have supported him to rise to his political level today, are the Ijaws, including myself. I am sure he knows the roles I have played in his political ascendency. There is, therefore, no need to be apologetic to Barr. Nyesom Wike, when there is no offence.”

A core follower of Chief Nyesom Wike, Senator Olaka Nwogu has stated that the plot to probe the past administration by the Rivers State Governor, Sir. Siminalayi Fubara, is a mere witch-hunt that will escalate the ongoing crisis.

“Atiku did not force Peter Obi out of the party, Wike was instrumental in the exit of Obi because Wike had promoted the zoning of the presidency to the south.”

“I would like to assume that the governor issued that executive order before the intervention of the High Court in Rivers State. The house is independent of the executive. So the governor cannot tell the house where to sit.”
