Polls conducted by an independent body have favoured All Progressives Congress (APC) having a landslide victory in the 2019 governorship elections.

Leaders of Esan Youth Coalition, a socio-cultural, non-political and non-profit organisation have joined thousands of Esan political and thought leaders as well as professional groups in condemning the recent unprovoked attack on Governor Godwin Obaseki’s convoy after a political meeting in Irrua, headquarters of Esan Central local government area of the state.

The immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has formally announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Barely any last minute change in plans, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, an All Progressives Congress, APC governorship aspirant in Delta State, have concluded plans to quit the 2019 governorship election race following decision by the party leadership and presidency to zone the party governorship ticket to Delta North, in what is termed; “balance of power.”

The All Progressives Congress APC has rebuked the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for accusing the President Muhammadu Buhari administration of tampering with oil revenues, saying unlike the past administrations of the PDP, the current administration would not copy their corrupt template in handling oil sales.
