ASSET Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has restructured its asset sales in a bid to facilitate speedy disposals.

A real estate and property company, Suru Worldwide Venture Nigeria Limited, has condemned Asset Management Company of Nigeria, AMCON, over alleged illegal invasion of its Ikeja, Lagos GRA property,  despite court orders to “stay the continuing and or further execution of the said judgment.”

THE Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) yesterday released its financial statement for the year ended 2017, which shows revenue rising by 23 percent to N342 billion during the year.  Meanwhile corporation has recovered N740 billion loans since its inception in 2011. Analysis of the financial statement of the corporation showed that gross earnings rose by 22.6 percent to N341.83 billion in 2017 from N278.78 billion in 2016.

ASSET Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, has taken over the assets of Sea Petroleum Oil & Gas Limited due to failure to repay N20 billion debt owed Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. The company is owned by former Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi.  The take-over was by a court order.
