The Forum of States Chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has distanced itself from media reports and advertorials calling for the sack of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, saying the body has nothing to do with the concocted publications.

ASABA-State Chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday described the decision of Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio to set up an Interim Management Committee for the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, despite the appointment of a substantive board by the Presidency as a national embarrassment, calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to sack him without delay. 

THE Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio has been urged to extend his supervisory roles to the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, following alleged corruption in the scheme.
