Group warns JTF not to establish base in Gbaramatu
The group in a statement signed by its leader, Akpasubewei Ezekiel, said it was opposed to the attempt by the state government and the JTF to establish a military base in Egbema Kingdom and would resist the move as it is bound to worsen the security situation in the region, adding “everybody in Nigeria now realizes that the military presence in the region is a major factor why the crisis in the Niger Delta persists”.
