Inter, intra-personal tension in marriage: Inter personal tension
According to the scriptures, I Corinthians 7:12-16, II Corinthians 6:14-16, the Bible warns concerning problems when a believer and an unbeliever try to live together in ma-rriage. It is discovered that tensions easily occur when the husband and wife differ from each other in their religious beliefs.
Word of Life at 30: Okowa, Ezeife, others urge prayers to save Nigeria
ON Sunday, November 15, 1987, by divine plan, purpose and objectivity, immediate past National President of Christian Association of Nigerian, CAN, His Eminence Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, led a few adherents to establish the Word of Life Bible Church in Warri. The birth of Word of Life Bible Church—a product of divine mandate—30 years ago opened a new vista in the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria.
Why a Christian should be generous
On a fateful day a member of my minisry walked up to me, and wanted to know why I gave a gift to another member. I took time to explain the reason behind my action. I told him that I would always acknow-ledge, recognise and en-courage any person that find space in his or her heart to render help to the needy or contribute to the development and growth of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Take a song from the storm
All these poetic and prophetic songs are there for the edification of our spiritual life. The massage of God for the church today is that You Should Never allow Any Crises to get into You, No MATTER HOW THOUGH IT IS! Let us bear this in mind. Mr. Charles Sparrow lost all his children in a high sea storm, yet he sang in the time of sorrow, It is well with my soul! How about a blind woman, she sang a song Amazing Grace.
A Priest with a Difference: MSGR RALPH A. NWOSU
Before his death, he was a priest of the Most High God, a Vicar General, a papal Chamberlain—a Monsignor, a defender to the defenceless, father to the fatherless, husband of poor widows, a mentor, a bridge builder, a leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), a pastor who was so close to his flock that he was even smelling like the flock, a priest that lived and died while preaching the gospel of peace and harmony, a priest that laid foundation to inter-tribal harmony; indeed, a priest with a difference! No other person than Very Rev. Msgr Raphael A. Nwosu of the Blessed Memory.
