….Martin Rinkart wrote many songs and hymns, among them was the Immortal song we sing most of the time, ‘Now Thank We Our God’ With heart and hands and voices.

All these poetic and prophetic songs are there for the edification of our spiritual life. The massage of God for the church today is that You Should Never allow Any Crises to get into You, No MATTER HOW THOUGH IT IS! Let us bear this in mind. Mr. Charles Sparrow lost all his children in a high sea storm, yet he sang in the time of sorrow, It is well with my soul! How about a blind woman, she sang a song Amazing Grace.
The greatest thing to do for your-self is to short down the mouth of the devil and refuse to weep, it is a matter of time, every problem have expiring time, the world will celebrate you only if you believe.
The year 2017 is coming to an end, determination conquers every failure, don’t be down cast, wait for your maker, sing song of redemption, refuse to be humi-liated by the devil.
Job was a man like us, when he almost gave up, he prayed for his brethren, what a great faith. Job 42:12, the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his begin-ning, for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 oxen and 1,000 female donkeys.
Failure does not mean you are a failure; it means, you haven’t succeeded yet. Why must you now commit suicide? Suicide is not the solution, deep yourself in the word of God, let it be your guard. Methodist conference theme 2017, God’s Words My Guild (Psalm 119:105) the Lord com-manded Joshua after the demise of Moses the servant of God, (Job 1:8 ). It says: “This Book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth, meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it” for then you will make your way pros-perous and then you will have a good success.
The children of Israel having passed through the thin and thickness of wilderness yet they sing the song of victory, (Exodus 15:1) then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Lord: “I will sing to the Lord for he has triumphed gloriously the horses and It riders, he has thrown into the sea”
The above song sounds as some-one that has received victory from captivity. Remember that the Israelites spent more than 400 years in the hands of Egyptians yet they cried on to God, and he delivered them.
Defeat never come to any man until he admit it, the dis-appointment of today will turn to your appointment tomorrow, NEVER GIVE UP!
The Israelites did not bow down to their oppressors or problem, (Psalm 127:3-5) “for those who carry us away captive asked of us a song. And those who plundered us requested mirth, saying, “sing us one of the songs of Zion.
How shall we sing the lord’s song in a foreign land? This should be noted that the kind of song here is not a song of victory, or joy, it is a song of mockers. The world wanted you to sing a song of sorrow, not victory, even if you are presently in the midst of a big storm raging fire of affliction, hear the words of the Lord, the fire (problem) will expire, the storm will pass.
And there would be a great calm in your situation, consider the word of Jesus Christ, He calmed the storm, and he said, “Peace be, still.”
What kind of storm are you passing through? How heavy is it? How long have you been nursing it, you will sing in the time of trial, and victory will be yours, In Jesus Name, Amen.
Through the love of Jesus Christ all will be well, trust in Him, surrender your life to him, and he will take care of you.
