THE International Institute for Creative Development, IICD, organizes a solo exhibition by eminent artist, Bolaji Ogunwo, titled ‘More Than Meets The Eye.”

FOR three solid days, the world converged in Yenagoa, Bayelsa to pay final respect to a great fisherman, a man of letters, Pa Gabriel Imomotimi Gbaingbain Okara before the mortal body he left behind was committed to mother earth in his village, Bumoundi.

ENUGU – FOUNDER of Word for Word Art Movement, Mr Ikenna Nwachukwu has said that art is a veritable tool in the fight against corruption as its appreciation enriches the mind and makes it a less fertile place for the seeds of corruption to grow.

In commemoration of this year’s Africa Day, the Art of Living, a non-governmental organisation, made a call for guidance through its founder, H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The event was conducted across over 25 African countries via a webcast with over 50,000 people in attendance.

Eleven artists whose works are being exhibited include Patrick Tagoe-Tuckson, Uchay Joel Chima, Olisa Nwadiogbu, Jimmy Uche Nwanne, Djakou Kassi Nathalie, Ato Arinze, Valentine Mbachu, Dominique Zinkpe, Andrews Tettey Arko, Samuel Tete-Katchan and Prince Obasi.
