It would be a disservice if I didn’t do this and say since I could take care of my needs, I would just relax. No matter what happens, I am a citizen of Nigerian and it is my responsibility to ensure, with other citizens, that we get a Nigeria of our dream. I would not blame anybody if we do not get the Nigeria of our dream if I sit on the fence so I want to get involved and do my best. I am not discouraged at all.

His developmental strides, particularly in the cradle of Yoruba land, prompted the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, to honour him with the chieftaincy title of the Maye of Ife.
