Delta North APC stakeholders resolve differences

By Festus Ahon

ASABA—AS part of efforts towards reconciling their differences,  stakeholders of All Progressives Congress, APC,  in Delta North senatorial district, have agreed to work together for the collective interests of the party in the area.

The meeting which was held behind closed doors at Ogwashi-Uku, headquarters of Aniocha South Local Government Area, was at the instance of their leader, Chief Hyacinth Enuha.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting which involved local government chairmen and secretaries of the party in the district, Chief Enuha, said there had been series of issues that put them at loggerheads.

Saying that the meeting was for them to reconcile their differences and secure peace in the party, Enuha said: “The reality of clinching victory in the forthcoming local government elections in the state would be a mirage if the party does not secure unity within its fold.

“The main problem was the party’s state executive. They have not fully proved themselves in terms of capacity. We have all realized that we were not making a head way but we believe we can find a solution. We have agreed as a party to move forward.”
