The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools Nigeria (NAPPS) Plateau state chapter has come up with agenda to prevent the occurrence of school building collapse incident in Plateau state.
The NAPPS Plateau state chairman, Mr Nanle Musa Umar, disclosed this yesterday while welcoming the NAPPS national president of Nigeria Dr. Samira Jibir PhD and the national vice president North Centre Dr. Adetunji Rahman and among others who paid a condolence visit to the state government proprietors, parents, and all affected by school collapse incident.
Dr Jibir while commemorating with the state commissioner of Education Plateau state Hon.Mohammed Nyalun, assured him of NAPPS cooperation and it measures to fostere and prevent future occurrence of the sad incident.
She assured the commissioner of NAPPS’ readiness to support and cooperate with the state Government in ensuring the highest standards of education safety.
Meanwhile, appreciating the NAPPS national leadership for the prompt condolence visit and seven point agenda, the commissioner reiterated that NAPPS cooperation will bring a good result especially now that the state government has established high power committee to curtail such occurrence.
He urged NAPPS to continue their efforts towards enhancing education safety and quality in Plateau State and nation at large.
Jibir also visited injured students receiving treatment at Bigham university teaching hospital known as ‘Jankwano’.
