AT 9.09 a.m,yesterday, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, candidate and the incumbent governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as winner of Saturday’s governorship election, having scored majority lawful votes of 97,833.

Ahead of the 2011 general election, the new Rivers Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mr. Austin Okojie, has said the state may get over six new constituencies if the constituency delineation exercise by the commission sails through.
