Security is airtight in and around the Eagle Square, Abuja, as the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gets underway.

At the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, convention ongoing at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, at least 138 lawmakers who are delegates have reportedly backed the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, an aide to Saraki has revealed.

Former governor of Ogun State and Director General, Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO, Gbenga Daniel , has called on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, delegates to rally behind the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in the coming national convention billed to hold tomorrow.
