By  Dennis Agbo ABAKALIKI—Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Abakaliki has paraded two young men, who the authority alleged are fake lecturers in the institution, but the young men insisted that they were former students of the university, who only took voluntary students on tutorials.

Co-ordinating chairman of the group, Mr. Dayo Ogunlana, in a solidarity message to Ijaw people, said “ once more, we extend our solidarity to the Ijaw nation and its people who are currently under bombardment from the occupation forces of the Joint Task Force (JTF).

“We fired into the air to disperse the vandals, but this started a stampede which eventually led to the explosion. At least between 25 and 30 persons must have died,” he claimed.
