There is palpable fear and disquiet at the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD, as Executive Secretary of the agency, Sharon Ikeazor, has shunned all entreaties and directives from Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, and the Senate to recall five sacked directors, following their alleged irregular appointments.

FEW days ago, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Hajia Aisha Abubakar, Senior officials of the  Ministry, Director General, Nigeria Textile Manufacturers Association, Managing Director, BOI and other stakeholders, were guests of the National Union of Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, at the Union’s national secretariat, Kaduna.

STEEL and Engineering Workers Union of Nigeria, SEWUN,  has called on the Federal Government to ensure tahat laws on industrial accidents are implemented for victims to get their benefits.

The National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers , NAAPE, has called off its industrial action against  Bristow Helicopters, and Caverton Helicopters .
